Aleta Jeffress is Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technical Officer for State, Local, and Education at NTT DATA, where she helps public sector organizations modernize operations, strengthen technology capabilities, and advance digital transformation.

A seasoned executive leader with experience across both public and private sectors, Aleta has built her career turning complex organizational and technology challenges into scalable, sustainable solutions. Her experience includes leading major digital transformation initiatives, modernizing legacy systems, establishing cybersecurity programs, building project management capabilities, and aligning diverse stakeholders around strategic priorities.

Aleta brings particular expertise in operational excellence, business and technology alignment, cybersecurity, organizational change, strategic planning, and leadership development. Throughout her career, she has focused on the intersection of people, process, and technology, helping organizations build resilient cultures that can adapt and perform through continuous change.

She is also passionate about developing future leaders and creating opportunities for rising professionals. Aleta has shared her experience through speaking engagements, panel discussions, mentoring, and leadership roles with professional and community organizations.

Aleta holds a Bachelor of Science in Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and has completed the John C. Maxwell Certification Program as a coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker.
